Pushing the Envelope

Today’s segment is a treat of sorts since you get to see me in the raw. I don’t mean this kind of raw or even that. The artwork you’re witnessing above is an unfinished rough, a raw sketch before final inking and cleanup. Thought you might enjoy it. And yes, laziness might have played a part.

As to the theme above, we tend to dread the things we have and wish for those we don’t. It’s a 3-stage process. Firstly the complaint. Secondly the attempt. Thirdly the success and inevitable fear.

    Imagine there’s a girlfriend
    Imagine there’s a job
    Imagine there’s an answer
    Imagine there’s a God
    Imagine I’m a Devil
    Imagine I’m a Saint
Lazy money, lazy sexy, lazy outa space

I think it’s neat to see raw sketches. People get to see your process and what goes into making (and cleaning up) your comic. Thanks for sharing!
